The Driver’s Helper assists CDL and non-CDL drivers with the safe, efficient loading, transportation, and unloading of household and commercial goods. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, protecting client property, and supporting compliance with company safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist drivers with loading and unloading furniture, cartons, equipment, and household goods.
Properly pad, wrap, and protect furniture and fragile items.
Safely carry, lift, and maneuver items in homes, offices, stairways, elevators, and trucks.
Secure cargo using straps, load bars, and protective materials.
Assist with packing and unpacking services when required.
Follow inventory procedures and assist with tagging and documentation.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and kneel for extended periods.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Tolerance for repetitive lifting and physical labor.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior moving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred (not required).
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Strong work ethic and punctuality.
Basic math and inventory skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime.
Valid driver’s license preferred (not required unless driving is assigned). Must have reliable transportation to get to job site daily.
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening (if applicable).

Compensation and Benefits
Hourly wage: $ 18.00 and up
Overtime in accordance FLSA minimum OT
