Growing painting and restoration company seeking experienced painters to join our team. We specialize in high-end residential homes, historic restoration projects, and select commercial properties throughout the Hudson Valley.
We are looking for professional, dependable individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship, maintain a positive attitude, and are willing to learn new skills and techniques. This is an opportunity to work on some of the area's finest homes and properties while building a long-term career with room for advancement.
**Requirements:**
* Minimum 5+ years professional painting experience
* Knowledge of proper surface preparation, coatings, and finish work
* Experience working in occupied homes and high-end residences
* Familiarity with historic restoration and preservation techniques preferred
* Understanding of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices
* Dependable transportation and valid driver's license
* Professional appearance and strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
**Preferred Skills:**
* Small carpentry and wood repair experience
* Drywall and plaster patching
* Trim repairs and restoration work
* Lead-safe work practices
**Compensation:**
* $25–$30 per hour based on experience and ability
* Steady, year-round work
* Opportunity for advancement into Lead Painter and Foreman positions
