Quiet Student Seeking Room: May to September, 2026

Hello! I’m a 31-year-old full-time online student at Utah Tech University, currently living in Middlesex County, Connecticut. I’m majoring in Business Administration and planning to pursue law school. I’m looking for a private room or short-term sublet in Northwest CT from May 1 – September 30, 2026.
Budget: $600/month
I have a quiet, no-party lifestyle and am very respectful of shared spaces. I am currently staying at a warming center, which closes on May 1, 2026, so I’m seeking a stable space starting that date.
I rely on student financial aid refunds arriving in May, September, and January, which cover rent. Since my May refund will arrive mid-month, I’m asking for the favor of moving in May 1. To make this completely low-risk for the landlord, I’m willing to prepay 5 months upfront ($3,000) once my refund arrives. I’m happy to sign a short-term lease or sublease to formalize the arrangement.
I’m looking for a space that provides privacy and a quiet environment, where I can focus on coursework and LSAT study.
