I am looking for a studio assistant in the Hudson, NY, and/or Great Barrington, MA, area to assist with studio projects starting in June. I am seeking someone with expertise in building sculptural pieces, installations, and printmaking. They will also assist with moving artwork, as well as setting up and cleaning the studio space. The candidate should be a skilled artist who is careful, follows instructions closely, and can ultimately work independently. Skills with cameras and photo editing is preferred. You must be able to help lift heavy objects on occasion and have your own car.

Starting salary is $20.00 an hour during the training period, but will ultimately be commensurate with expertise and experience. While this position starts in the summer it could eventually turn into a full time position.

List of responsibilities:
-Basic woodworking skills
-Sculptures and installations
-Block printing
-Stencil cutting
-Collaging archivally
-Handling Large paper installations
-Handling and packing artwork
-Videos and setting up time-lapse videos
-Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, iMovie)
-Basic computer skills (must have your own laptop)
-Social media
