I have 13 of these large 14 x 8 x 8 inch galvanized buckets – 6 without handles and 8 with handles-that we used as aisle markers for our outdoor wedding for $10.00 each. I have silicone sprayed all the bases so they DO hold water without leaking!
Compare at Michaels at 19.99 each that will need to be sprayed or they will leak!
If you are thinking of a similar approach, start early to collect all of this seasons decorations for next year. It takes a lot of work, but it is nice to benefit from others successful ideas, save money, recycle, and re-purpose all that goes into the wonderful event.
