Made for the Department of Civil Defense. The CD V-715 is a high-range gamma radiation detecting instrument. The ranges of this instrument are 0-0.5, 0-5, 0-50, and 0-500 roentgens/hour. The CD V-715 is an ion chamber that measures the Gamma radiation in milliRem/hour. Unit requires a single "D" battery. Included with the meter is the original owners manual. This meter was calibrated in July of 1993. Nice addition to your man cave. Required for preppers and survivalists. $100
