RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greet guests immediately, make suggestions and answer questions regarding food and beverage service
· Take cocktail, wine, food & dessert orders in the established manner
· Organize timing and be able to multitask several tables at once
· Communicate with kitchen throughout the meal reiterating any special guest requests, if a table is eating slower/faster than expected, etc.
· Serve the meal in the established manner; Ensure the guest receives food properly prepared and presented according to Rein Osteria standards
· Maintain a clean table throughout the dining experience. Remove unneeded silverware, glassware, extra plates, etc.
· Perform assigned side work and other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Meet state & local age requirements for serving alcohol
· Maintain current state/local required alcohol service certification
· Previous server experience required
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
· Must be able to balance and carry multiple food and beverage items to and from table area
· Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time
· Excellent people skills and outgoing personality
· Team Player
