DAISY is a big, placid girl. She walks calmly on the leash and likes to just sit at her caretaker's feet and be petted and talked to. She is civil to other dogs met in the backyard. I am a neutered male. This 2-year-old mix of Boxer and American Staffordshire Bull Terrier is sweet and loving. He expresses his affection for people by gently nuzzling them, even strangers. He's a little friendly with other dogs but likes people more. Though his owner surrendered him because he had no time, he did give Taz some obedience training. Taz KNOWS basic COMMANDS such as to SIT, STAY, and COME, but he pulls too hard on a lead and needs to learn to heel. He also seems to be house trained, doing his business outside when he can. He weighs 51 pounds and is neutered, so you can take him home as soon as you sign his adoption papers. He'll give you lots of love, and you'll give it to him. WE CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THIS WONDERFUL DOG HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED AT THE SHELTER, BUT HE HAS .... he is such a sweetheart

Hubby and I are looking for a small non-shedding dog, something like a Maltese, poodle X etc. We can't afford to pay alot of money up front because we know the first thing to be done is a vet visit for shots/spaying etc. So free or up to $50.00.

"Muffler" is a medium-sized white and fawn colored rat. She's very sweet and doesn't mind being held and played with.

"Zoo" is a small black-and-white colored rat. She is very curious and quick, loves to climb.

The pair get along very well and love to wrestle and play. They are both very young, just a few months old.

Along with the ladies you will get a suitably sized cage, a food dish and shelters and whatever food and bedding I have left. They could probably use a new water bottle, theirs is a bit chewed. :) It only costs a few dollars.

I am asking for a $20 rehoming fee to weed out those who may try to take them for snake food. Please, these are PETS. They are intelligent, active and a lot of fun to watch and play with. MITCH is ONE COOL DOG... LOOK AT HIS AWESOME "Wuggie" FACE
MITCH is a handsome 3 y amstaff/hound x who was dumped off as a stray. He's medium sized at 60 lbs. He has a slight abduction of his front right front foot but it doesn't seem to bother him. He is very much housetrained and once his business is done, he walks very nicely on the leash. He appears handshy and a little skittish at first and he needs a little bit of time to warmup but once he does he does enjoy being petted

One has to wonder if he was ever appreciated by his previous owner. He seems to be fine with other dogs but has shown a bit of dominance. Most likely, in strong and loving hands this absolutely gorgeous dog would do very well. Please give him the guidance, love and appreciation he deserves. He will make a loyal companion and be your best friend forever. PLS SAVE HIM NOW!!

CHARLIE is an all around PERFECT dog who will make someone so happy! He's so sad being in a cage--his owner had to give him up because he was moving--but he still manages to be nothing but a cheerful trooper with all around him. He's good with cats and dogs, and he is so perfectly housetrained that he actually managed to make it 17 hours between walks without going in his cage. Manny is a 2 year old "Oreo" dog---a true mixed breed if I ever saw one. He's very graceful and long legged , and small at just 46 pounds. What a handsome pup! Manny knows how to get attention, too. In his cage, he barks to get you to look at him, and you may be tempted to think he's badly behaved if you went no further than that--but, in fact, Manny is actually quite easy to walk, and he's a joy to be around. He loves to hug and be hugged, and he's very engaged and focused on his handler. Manny was rated "MILD" by our behaviorist, and I agree. Manny is a hidden gem, and well worth your time and attention.

Lost Little Dog
The little dog wandered the streets, as he tried his very best, to find a scrap of food, and maybe a place to rest.
Darkness was beginning to fall, it started to turn cold, he had a home but now it's gone, a story so often told.
His family no longer wanted him, they tossed him out one day, to live or die was no concern, as they went upon their way.
Now he must scrounge for food, and hopes that he will find, someone to take care of him, and he hopes that they won't mind.

Nat is a 6 yo male German Shepherd mix.This 55lbs dog was found laying in the middle of the street and brought to the shelter on 10/23/09.

Nat is happy to come out of his cage. He marks a little his territory but walks very nicely. He is clearly housetrained. Few dogs only were met but he was very civil with them. Nat is a gentle dog and friendly. He sits on command and likes caresses. A nice dog

SALLY HAS HER COSTUME AND SHE'S READY FOR TREAT R' TREAT!
Sally says she just knows she will be adopted in time to share Halloween fun with her new family, so she got her costume early this year.
Sally is about 2-3 years old, weighing about 49 lbs. You have come and see her in person! Sally walks GREAT on a leash!! She would do well with a fenced-in yard and a jogging buddy as long as you are willing to dedicate quality snuggle time as well! She seems to have had some prior training but can use some more training. The training should be fun as Sally seems more than eager to learn! She would do well in a family with kids at the age of 6 or older, adults and seniors!! Sally does fine with some dogs too (no cats for her please). She will enjoy being an only pet as well. She is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed. Sally is much prettier when you meet her in person!! Please come to meet our sweet girl today and save her life!!
